• Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP), PMP, CBCP, or comparable certifications.

Position Summary 

Noble Group International is seeking a highly experienced Nuclear Materials Management & Safeguards Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support strategic planning, technical studies, white papers, concept development, operational assessments, and client engagements related to advanced nuclear and fusion energy programs. 

The SME will provide expertise in nuclear material control and accountability (MC&A), safeguards, nuclear security, transportation security, strategic material management, and fuel-cycle operations. The position will support projects involving advanced reactor deployment, fusion fuel-cycle development, isotope production, critical material supply chains, and national energy security initiatives. 

The ideal candidate will possess direct experience supporting DOE, NNSA, national laboratories, commercial nuclear facilities, or international safeguards organizations. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Lead development of technical studies, white papers, strategic assessments, and concept-of-operations documents related to nuclear material management and safeguards. 

• Advise clients on secure transportation, storage, handling, and accountability requirements for strategic nuclear materials and isotopes. 

• Support development of requirements, policies, procedures, and operational frameworks for advanced nuclear and fusion energy programs. 

• Assess material control and accountability programs and recommend improvements to security, inventory management, and chain-of-custody processes. 

• Support planning efforts related to fusion fuel-cycle infrastructure, including strategic materials such as Lithium-6, tritium, breeder materials, and associated supply chains. 

• Provide subject matter expertise for DOE, NNSA, NRC, DOD, and commercial nuclear initiatives. 

• Participate in stakeholder engagements with government agencies, national laboratories, industry partners, and international organizations. 

• Contribute to business development activities, proposal efforts, and technical solution development. 

Required Qualifications 

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering, Nuclear Science, Physics, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline. 

• Minimum 15 years of experience in nuclear materials management, safeguards, MC&A, nuclear security, or fuel-cycle operations. 

• Demonstrated experience supporting DOE, NNSA, NRC, DOD, national laboratory, commercial nuclear, or international safeguards programs. 

• Working knowledge of nuclear material accounting, inventory control, safeguards implementation, and material protection programs. 

• Experience developing technical reports, assessments, white papers, and operational procedures. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, if required.
